Visayab Mail Setup
Set up email, calendar, contacts, and notes on your device.
Detecting your device…
Enter your Visayab credentials once. iOS / macOS will install Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Notes — no further prompts.
iOS will show a "Profile Not Signed" warning — tap Install anyway. We're working on a signed version.
Your password is sent over HTTPS, verified against the mail server, embedded in the profile that downloads to your device, and is not stored on our setup server.
Android sets up mail and calendar separately. Two short steps:
1. Email (Gmail or default Email app)
- Open Gmail (or the default Email app)
- Tap your profile picture → Add another account → Other
- Enter your Visayab email address and password
- Gmail will detect the server settings automatically
2. Calendar and Contacts (DAVx⁵)
Android needs a small free app called DAVx⁵ for calendar and contact sync.
Install DAVx⁵ from Play Store
- Install DAVx⁵ from Play Store
- Open DAVx⁵ → tap + → Login with email address
- Enter your Visayab email address and password
- DAVx⁵ auto-discovers
mail.visayab.com and lists Calendar and Contacts
- Tap Create account — done. Calendar & Contacts now sync to your phone's built-in apps.
Pick your mail client below — settings auto-discover for all of these.
Thunderbird (recommended — all-in-one)
- Open Thunderbird
- Click Account Settings → Add Mail Account
- Enter your name, Visayab email, and password
- Thunderbird will configure Mail, Calendar, and Contacts automatically
Apple Mail (Mac)
Open setup.visayab.com in Safari on your Mac to get the profile form.
Outlook (Windows)
Add Account → enter your Visayab email → Outlook autodiscovers IMAP. Calendar and Contacts must be added separately as CalDAV / CardDAV.
